Seems to me that most photographers (me included) would be better off collecting ephemera. So I do. I’m a long time devotee of whoever writes the headlines for the Manchester Evening News’s posters. Here then is a selection of their CCTV coverage. They tell you all you need to know about those old media obsessions of Police, Teachers and Children.
There’s a prize for the person who can best rearrange words from the headlines into a new poster.
Anyway on a cryptic note, you may get the chance to view my collection at some future time in some not-so-distant place.
