… is one of those sentences which contain every letter of the alphabet at least once. The best known pangram is of course: “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog”. (“Vexed nymphs go for quick waltz job”, is another). I’ve just finished Simon Garfield’s eminently entertaining new book about fonts ‘Just My Type’ – which not only features Squid Spot’s Periodic Table of Type pictured above, but mentions this YouTube clip of a quick brown fox jumping (after a couple of attempts) over a lazy dog.
